DANI BURREN
Dani Burren (she/her) was born in Houston, Texas. In 2022, she graduated from the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Shortly after, she attended Point Park University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in dance along with an English minor. While at Point Park, she performed works by Roderick George, Akira Uchida, Omar De Jesús, Norbert De La Cruz III, Juel D. Lane, Paul Taylor, Camille A. Brown, and more. Additionally, she received training at programs such as SpringboardX, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and BodyTraffic.
Dani is delighted to begin her first season with Detroit Metropolitan Dance as a company member. With an interest in choreography and dance education, she is thrilled to begin immersing herself in the Detroit dance scene.
